I hear from leaders all the time: they want to inject even just a tiny sliver of fun into their meetings. They know they need to do something but what? They don’t have time to find props and procedures, they don’t even know what they’re really looking for. And they really really can’t afford for this to go south.
They ask me for ideas, not just any ideas, but they need very quick, very easy, very fun, very successful, lightly facilitated, activities that won’t make them cringe or see the office introvert running for the hills🏔️
They need decision-made, playful ideas that access the benefits of play, and nudge us a little out of our comfort zones (because that’s where the magic is) but not make us so uncomfortable it triggers a psychologically unsafe response.
