Okay, a follow-up question: Do you feel confident going into conflict?
If you’re like most of us, you don’t feel confident or courageous in conflict. Far from it.
It probably feels more like doing battle in an arena. Exposed. Risky. Uncertain and often uncomfortable (maybe even anxiety-creating, frustrating or hurtful).
What are we so afraid of? Our fear about conflict tends to fall into these main categories:

Most of us naturally avoid it, hoping it just goes away (*raises hand*). Spoiler alert: never works.

The good news is that there’s a solution beyond all this with practical tools that can help you live, and lead, your bravest life — even in conflict. So, here’s what I’m here to tell you:

Conflict doesn’t have to be a full-blown battle. With the right strategies and tools, we can transform conflict into opportunities for learning and growth.
To become successful in the conflict arena, we need to do something really important before we step in. And it’s something that goes against all instinct. We need to take off our “armour”. We can enter only with our values and sense of integrity on board.
